- Build up your Website: The Office of Information Technology (IT) offers two solutions for website hosting: Google Sites and IT Web server accounts which includes sunset accounts. Visit ITHelpdesk and learn how to do it.
- Conference travel support: There are several funding resources around the university where students can ask for support to attend to conferences. These include the Graduate school travel grants and research awards. The Division of Student Affairs, Student Development Grant. The AMS student chapter can also provide members with funding if they are available-talk to the president about it. The Mathematics Department also has funding and you need to talk to your advisor about it. Finally, sometimes the conferences have limited funding for early-career individuals, including graduate students. Students should be proactive and creative in looking for nearby opportunities and funding resources.
